Child Care Health Consultation
- The Child Care Health Consultation, for a Healthy Start in Child Care, is part of the STARS for KIDS Now Initiative.
- The program provides consultation on health, safety, nutrition, and social/emotional well being of children to child care providers.

WEDCO District Health Department Community Health Promotion staff attend various community meetings regularly in order to network/collaborate with leaders and community members in each of the counties we serve. Examples of these meetings include, Champions for a Drug Free Harrison County, Scott Countians Against Drugs (SCAD), KY-Agency for Substance Abuse Policy (KY-ASAP Boards in Nicholas County, Scott County, and Harrison County, Local Advisory Boards (Schools and Extension), Nicholas County Comprehensive Family Services, Harrison County Comprehensive Family Services, and Georgetown-Scott County Community Connection.
